Abram got his first taste of woodworking while attending college in the Netherlands. He took a job at a shop that made hand-carved wooden statues and signs. A highlight was working on the figurehead and name signs for the Athena – the world’s largest yacht at that time. Abram’s start in construction came in 2007 when he traveled to the New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. He led small teams of volunteers rebuilding homes damaged by flooding. Prior joining Four Brothers in 2016, Abram also worked on the renovation of a 200-year-old commercial/residential building in Old Town Alexandria. As a lead carpenter, he tackles every project with enthusiasm but his favorite task is installing kitchen cabinetry.
OFF THE CLOCK...
Abram is an avid reader – especially sci-fi novels. He enjoys woodworking (there’s usually at least one of his own projects underway) and hiking and camping in the great outdoors.
