"Now that our remodeling project is complete, it is clear that your descriptions of your work are modest. We did not realize that the built-in drawers would be made of maple and finished so well, that they would be dovetailed, or that they would gently glide closed. We could tell from your photo gallery that your built-ins are beautifully proportioned and made, but did not pick up on some of the subtle details. You just don’t see this kind of craftsmanship except in totally unaffordable pieces!"

“Being new to Washington DC, my husband and I purchased a 2 bedroom condo in the prestigious neighborhood of Kalorama with the intention of renovating the unit completely. I am an Architectural Designer with over 20 years of experience with very high standards and an eye for details. “Leroy is a really nice guy, consistently reliable and communicative. He spent months designing a kitchen redo for our small kitchen, which has three doorways which weren't moving. He focused on scaling down the cabinetry and appliances and using every available inch of space. After looking at photographs and discussing a look, he and Alfred built beautiful open wooden shelves in lieu of uppers, which also really opened the room up. He also incorporated lots of vintage materials. The end result is gorgeous; it has an old school simplicity and new spaciousness at the same time. And the journey was fun. “We have had Four Brothers remodel two bathrooms, install cork flooring, convert our screened porch, and reinforce a roof system along with building a storage loft in an out building on our property. The bathrooms included design and ceramic tile work. Their ideas for tile design were excellent, along with taking out the existing closet and replacing with a linen cabinet to open up the space. We also took their advice to install glass doors on the tub, which gave us more daylight in the tub area and the illusion of more space as well. Their design of a knee wall made out of bead board under the “Easy Breeze” windows was just what we were looking for in a porch enclosure. It enables us to have a screened porch or sunroom by just opening or closing the windows. The shelf they suggested above the bead board looks great and is also functional. Our out building was not stable, so they reinforced the roof system which tightened everything up. The loft they installed in part of the building is used for storage. We have been extremely pleased with all work performed by these fine young men. Their attention to detail and customer satisfaction is above and beyond others in their field. We have found them to be very trustworthy and friendly and have never hesitated to leave them in our home while we have been away to do their work. At the end of every work day, they always clean up, even if they are coming back the next day. We will be using them for all of our projects in the future and highly recommend their company.”
